The ideal way to find a nearby passport center is perform a zip code search on the Department of State website. Although this seems like a tedious and time-consuming process, it is in the interest of national security, and only needs to be done once provided the passport is never lost. Waiting in line at a passport center is a small price to pay for international travel.
